Barton Court, Colwall, is a period country house on the edge of a charming village, in its own grounds, surrounded by spectacular countryside. Between the two very different vibrant towns of Malvern and Ledbury, it is private but not isolated. The house is Georgian, beautifully preserved and filled with period features, which has undergone a sensitive refurbishment programme to introduce – discretely – modern facilities and creature comforts while enhancing all of its historic charm.
Places to visit and stay in Ledbury
Visit Herefordshire and ensure you stop by the market town of Ledbury which oozes culture and is famous for its landmark black and white buildings and streets. The key to discovering Ledbury town is to explore its myriad of mews and side streets, literally every few yards along the long High Street and the Homend. There is so much to do in and around Ledbury including splendid castles and country homes and lots of lovely accommodation in the town and in the surrounding beautiful Herefordshire countryside.
