h.Art week at Stockton Bury Gardens
Stockton Bury is a venue for nine artists taking part in the popular h.ART Week (Sept 7th – Sept 15th).
Entry to the art exhibition and sales area is free.
All artists have years of experience in their chosen field and their art is both functional, inspirational and inspired by plants and gardens.
The art is displayed in the cider press reception and outside the popular garden cafe.
Visit to enjoy the work of Jane Hickman (batik), Judith Price (jewelry), Andy Gray (resin and wood), Ed Elliott (sculptor), Nicola Hopwood (stained glass), Claire Vaughan (paint and print), Lea Gregory (botanical artist), Hannah Madden (printmaker) and Neil Lossock (blacksmith).
The garden will be open throughout the event – entry £7 for adults. Entry to the art and garden cafe is free.
Stockton Bury Gardens are at the heart of a working farm that has been looked after by the same family for five generations. The four acre garden is split into separate gardens offering formal and informal design. Stand under the largest Monkey Puzzle tree in the county, watch the bees coming and going from the hives or sit and take in the view from the Secret Garden. Stockton Bury offers a relaxed atmosphere and experts are on hand to answer your gardening questions. Stockton Bury features regularly in national gardening magazine as garden writer Tamsin Westhorpe is a member of the team and family.
